What is Consulting Online?
MEX now offers a new service called 'Consulting on-line'. This service utilises
web conferencing via Web Ex. All you will require is an Internet connection, headset
or PC speakers. MEX will be using VoIP as the communication media which will eliminate
the issue regarding costly phone connections. You don’t even need to load the application,
just access it via the Internet.
MEX 'Consulting on-line' will allow the MEX consultant and MEX/FleetMEX user to
share the MEX/FleetMEX application on either computer. Control can be passed between
both parties on a single mouse click. Everyone can see the same thing at the same
time, while talking. Not only can the MEX/FleetMEX application be shared but presentations
can be given, documents discussed, systems analysed and even MEX/FleetMEX systems
set up.

What can it be used for?
Web conferencing adds the power of visuals to your conference calls. Everyone can
see the same thing at the same time, while you talk. All you need is an Internet
connection to share anything on your computer screen with anyone, anywhere. Show
presentations. Look at documents together. Demonstrate any application.
The service will be offered in 'blocks' of two hour sessions, and in a number of
cases, will eliminate the need for travel and associated expenses.
You can work together like you do in person, without traveling. You’ll save time
and money, get things done faster. For example, you can use web conferencing (also
called web meeting, online meeting, or web collaboration) for:
- Consulting
- Making sales presentations online
- Demonstrating applications for sales or training
- System analysis
- System set-up
Depending on the capabilities of your web conferencing software, you can share your
whole desktop or just a single application. Everyone in the meeting can see whatever
you decide to share—even if they don’t have that application installed. And you
can pass control, so others can share from their desktops as well.
Cost & Registration
The service will be offered in 'blocks' of two hour sessions, a session costs $300
plus GST.
