Getting Started with MEX

To ensure competency of Beach Energy’s operator maintainers in the use of MEX, MEX trainer Damian Silvester was sent to the Cooper Basin to ensure all four shifts were instructed in how to use the new system. The free flow of problem solving ideas in these sessions were invaluable, demonstrating various ways to complete tasks, and allowing our users to determine the most suitable approach.

How do you use the MEX System?

MEX is used by trained operations staff to ensure equipment is serviced to industry best practice and operational requirements are completed in an auditable manner. This ensures regulatory compliance can be verified both in the field and from the head office in Adelaide.

Our operators use the MEX iOS App on their iPads to record results of inspections, take photos and raise work orders for issues arising from inspections, thus capturing the complete work flow. MEX Inspections has given us a quick and effective process for ensuring that all of our equipment is maintained at the highest standard possible and that any uncovered equipment issues are resolved as soon as possible.
