Access MEX on Android iOS and MAC with Remote Desktop

Ever wondered how to access all your files and systems on your Work PC when out of the office? In a world where files are stored on the cloud, more work is done on the run and mobile devices seem to be an extension of ourselves. Having applications that allow you to gain access to your work resources from anywhere can be a godsend.

Introducing the Microsoft Remote Desktop Client. As defined by TechNet, this Remote Desktop Client gives you the ability to get your work done from almost anywhere by providing an easy way to use your mobile device to:

  • Connect to a remote PC to access all of your apps, files, and network resources
  • Access published Windows apps hosted on Microsoft Azure

What this means is that you can now access your full MEX system on your work station anytime, anywhere. Yes we do have the iOS apps already out in the market, but for android lovers you don’t need an app. Those iOS fans can jump on the bandwagon too. Simply configure your PC with the RD Client Tools and install the app on your device and you’re on your way.
