New MEX Customers May 2021

We would like to extend a very warm welcome to some of our newest customers who recently purchased the MEX Maintenance Software in May, 2021. These customers are now an important part of the MEX Community.

Zerella Fresh
Zerella Fresh is a major Australian supplier of the core vegetables that constitute everyday meals for all Australians. Zerella Fresh is a vertically integrated wholly-owned company of the Pye Family that grows, packs, processes, wholesales and distributes potatoes, carrots and onions to all states of Australia.

“We made the decision to invest in MEX because we recognised that we needed an effective maintenance management system to support the operation and maintenance of our new $40 million potato washing and packing facility, as well as our existing onion and carrot packing sheds at Parilla in SA. We selected MEX because it appears to have the functionality of much bigger systems at a lower cost. Plus, we hope to implement it without a significant increase in administrative resources.” – Paul White, General Manager


Intercast & Forge
Intercast & Forge is Australia's largest iron foundry, capable of handling complex and high capacity runs while being efficient and environmental. The company offers products such as mechanical, electric couplers, hubs, dog spikes, fish plates, rail track shoulders, rail track base plates, tractor and earth mover parts, rollers, and white iron wear plates and blocks.

Surteco
Surteco is involved in the development, design, manufacture of surface materials, such as laminates, decorative printing, foils, thermo-plastic vinyl wrap, edging, LED’s and technical extrusions. 

“The main benefits we are looking to achieve with switching to the MEX CMMS is to move to a planned and scheduled maintenance-based program as opposed to reactive. We also want to plan and manage work orders and labour hours efficiently plus develop spare parts management.” –  Brad Spears, Operations Manager


Groenz
GroeNZ is a producer and wholesaler of sauces and condiments. The company manufactures sauces, dressings, condiments and powders for the quick service restaurant and food service industries in New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands.
